What are cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser. pitter.ai uses browser local storage to remember essential information like your sign-in session and your preferences.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Essential |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication session | Keeps you signed in. pitter.ai stores your authentication session in your browser's local storage so you stay logged in between visits. | Yes |
| UI preferences | Remembers small interface choices, such as which product you have selected, so the app feels consistent when you return. | Yes |
| pitter_cookie_consent | A first-party cookie that records whether you accepted all cookies or chose essential-only, so we don't show the consent banner again. It lasts 12 months and is also mirrored in local storage as a fallback. | Yes |
Essential vs non-essential
All storage pitter.ai currently uses is essential for the service to function. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
If we add non-essential cookies in the future (such as analytics), we will update this policy and ask for your consent through the banner.
Managing cookies
You can clear your browser's cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. This will sign you out and reset your preferences.
You can also change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which reopens the consent banner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies or local storage we use. We will post the updated policy on this page.
