Who is responsible for your data
pitter.ai is owned and operated by Digizenk LLC, registered in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA. Digizenk LLC is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy — meaning we decide how and why your data is processed.
If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@pitter.ai.
Information we collect
Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. We do not request access to your Google Drive, contacts, or other Google data.
Customer feedback you upload: Text you provide — such as reviews, DMs, surveys, support tickets, and CSV exports — is stored in your account so pitter.ai can analyze it and generate marketing assets.
Usage metadata: We track how many feedback items and assets you create so we can enforce plan limits. This includes counts, timestamps, and the product each item belongs to.
Technical data: Standard information such as browser type, device identifiers, IP address, and approximate location may be collected through your use of the service.
Support messages: If you contact us, we keep the correspondence so we can respond.
Payment data is collected and processed by our payment provider (see "Data sharing" below); we do not store your card details.
How we use your information and legal bases
To provide the pitter.ai service — analyzing feedback, surfacing customer signals, and generating marketing assets (performance of our contract with you).
To manage your account, including authentication and plan enforcement (contract performance).
To keep the service secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interests).
To improve the product and develop new features (our legitimate interests).
To communicate with you about your account or important service updates (contract performance and legitimate interests).
To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements.
AI processing
Customer feedback you upload is sent to our AI processing layer for analysis. This includes extracting pain points, desires, outcomes, recurring patterns (signals), and generating marketing copy.
We do not sell your data or use your uploaded feedback to train third-party models. AI processing is used solely to deliver the service to you.
Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data or uploaded feedback.
We share data with service providers who help us operate pitter.ai — our hosting and database infrastructure and our AI processing provider — strictly under agreements that protect your data.
Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, which processes your purchase, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing. When you make a purchase, your transaction data is shared with Paddle for those purposes.
We may share information with professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed, and with authorities when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of pitter.ai, our users, or others.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country. Where personal data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
Data retention
Your feedback and generated assets remain in your account for as long as your account is active.
You can delete individual feedback items, products, or your entire account at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
When you delete your account, your feedback, generated assets, and associated metadata are removed from our systems. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can access, export, and delete your data at any time through the app.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to rectification, restriction, portability, and objection to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact us to exercise any of these rights — we respond within one month.
If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and row-level security on your data so only you can access your own account's content.
Cookies
We use essential cookies required for sign-in and security. Optional analytics and marketing cookies are only used with your consent. You can manage your preferences at any time — see our Cookie Policy for details.
Children's privacy
pitter.ai is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and, where appropriate, notifying you within the app.
